What Does Black History Month Mean to Me?

That is the question our four presenters will be examining on four days in February at 12 noon on Zoom.

Mark your calendar for the following dates:

• Wednesday, February 1
• Wednesday, February 9
• Wednesday, February 15
• Friday, February 24

Discussion topics include famous and lesser-known African American activists who have been fighting for justice and equality for all citizens of America.

How does this show up in the hearts of the congregation? Should there be more diversity in the pulpit throughout the year? These and other questions will be addressed by the presenters.

The presenters have also agreed that it’s time to reassess their roles as representatives to inform, share their own life stories, and to bring clarity to the big issues of the day such as racism and tolerance. How can this be accomplished and not diminished if they choose to step away from those roles?

We hope you will attend these sessions. Come prepared to be inspired and/or a bit uncomfortable with the questions that will be raised.
