Sue Simon has been an active and dedicated member of the Center for Spiritual Living, Santa Rosa for more than three decades and is deeply honored to regard the Center as her spiritual home. She is a long-time resident of Sebastopol and an active participant in the Sebastopol Senior Center’s Senior Lesbians in Community (SLIC) group.
Sue’s personal interests include gardening, reading, films, and board games. She and her spunky Corgi, Gracie can often be found out for walks or happily playing ball. Travel has been an important part of Sue’s retirement years, including many trips to beautiful New Zealand. Her daughter, Katy, and son-in-law live there, and this family connection explains her ongoing relationship with the country.
Professionally, Sue devoted her career to public education, serving as an elementary and middle school principal. Her leadership and service were strongly guided by the teachings and practices of Science of Mind. Sue has likewise demonstrated an enduring commitment to the Center for Spiritual Living, Santa Rosa through many years of volunteer services and support. She is honored to have been selected to serve the Center as a member of the Board of Trustees.
