Capital Campaign for CSL Retreat Center

Bringing us closer to our vision of a world that works for everyone, our larger organization, Centers for Spiritual Living, is engaged in a capital campaign to raise the required funds to purchase a beautiful and well-established 32-acre camp and retreat center.

Cedar Ridge Camp & Retreat Center in Vernonia, Oregon, is an ideal place for youth groups, retreats, corporate events, weddings, and conferences, and Centers for Spiritual Living is seeking to raise $1.5 million for the purchase of the facility, and an additional $3 million for site improvements. In order to meet the goal, the deadline has been extended to Friday, July 30. If the campaign falls short of its initial goal, CSL will have the option to enter into a management arrangement with the current camp owner while fundraising continues.

Your donations will help make this project a reality and will provide a place for people of all ages to come together to play and learn and grow, in community. In fact, teen groups from Centers for Spiritual Living held their camps here from 2004 to 2007. It’s a place to call our own, where our teens, our families, our people can come together. It’s a place where CSL can share our message of love and oneness with other groups that use the facilities who don’t even know us yet.

A generous donor in our Santa Rosa community believes in this project so strongly that they will match our donations, dollar for dollar, up to $2,500 between now and July 15.

Donations in any amount are welcome.

You can write a check to CSLSR with “Camp” in the memo line and mail it to the Center or deposit it in the offering baskets as you exit the sanctuary on Sunday morning.

Or donate online. Be sure to write “Camp” in the section at the top of the online form next to the little pencil so we know what the donation is for.
