An Update from Dr. Edward

The mandatory evacuation order has been lifted. See you all on Sunday.

We are so grateful for everyone who helped with the evacuations and the fire, especially the first responders. So many community members worked together to make sure everyone was safe. For all of that we are grateful.

We have received a steady stream of emails, prayers, and love from Centers all over the United States, and even from as far as Bhutan where monks let me know that they are meditating on behalf of our community, first responders, and volunteers.

I continue to be moved by the grace and poise with which our community has responded to this evacuation and the organic way in which our shared leadership model has allowed for us to respond. This is the first time in 25 years, possibly longer, that we have not held a Sunday morning service.
I am trusting, with you, that your family, friends, and loved ones are safe, and are benefiting from our joint consciousness of peace. I feel the love of our community very closely right now.

Here is a prayer received from Rev. Sandy Smith of Kennewick, WA:
I know that Spirit’s insight and love are with all people, residents, and emergency personnel in Santa Rosa. The care and compassion of all concerned is evident. All those needed for whatever reason appear exactly as they should. God’s healing presence is experienced by all.
