Project Sleep Warm Quilt Raffle

Win this spectacular lap quilt which has been donated for our raffle prize. You can see it hanging in the Social Hall. It’s titled “Painted Ladies,” inspired by the colorful Victorian houses on the streets of San Francisco.

The drawing will be held on Sunday, June 18. You do not need to be present to win.

Tickets are available at Stepping Stones Books and Gifts: $1 each or 6 for $5.

Store hours: Sunday 9:30 am to 12:30 pm; Tuesday 11 am to 3 pm; Wednesday 6:30 to 7 pm.

Every month for decades our Project Sleep Warm team has gathered to make quilts and sleeping bags for local homeless women and children. Using fabric and bedsheets generously donated by our congregation, we create warm, cozy comforters, each one packed with our love and joy.

We purchase batting—the soft, plush filling on the inside of the quilt—every couple of months, and we also have sewing machine maintenance and incidental costs. Proceeds from the raffle will help cover these expenses.

Project Sleep Warm meets at the Center on the third Saturday of every month from 10 am to 1 pm and you are welcome to join us! There are jobs for all hands; you do not have to be able to sew.

Thank you!
