Mary Ann has been on a spiritual path for as long as she can remember. Throughout her life she has been attracted to teachings and practices that promote increasing self-awareness, self-acceptance, and opening to Life and Spirit. She first came to the Center in 1989 and has been active in a variety of volunteer activities including the nursery, youth classes, the AIDS/LifeCycle team, and our welcoming team. “Back in the day,” Mary Ann worked on fundraising and did demolition and cleanup of the old Star Skate building that has become the Center’s current home. For the past 31 years, she has worked as a physical therapist in a variety of settings, most recently in a pediatric clinic.
