Have you been feeling cooped up in your house? Missing the warmth of the sun and some good company? If so, join Rev. Russ Legear for a Spirit Walk! Spirit Walks are a great way to share in some casual spiritual conversation (or mindful meditation!) while enjoying nature. We meet for our walk the first Saturday of each month at 1 pm.
On March 5, we will start our walk at Spring Lake in the parking lot by the lagoon and will walk around the lake itself. Meet Rev. Russ by the boat rental sign between the lake and the lagoon. We will leave promptly at 1 pm, so please be a little early so you aren’t left behind! The whole walk takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour at a moderate pace, so please plan your time accordingly. Be sure to wear appropriate clothes and shoes as there is one part of the walk around the lake that could be muddy if there is any rain. Dogs are also welcome as long as they are well behaved and can make the walk.
Note that there is ample parking in the Spring Lake parking lot, though there is a small day use fee to enter with a vehicle. If you want to avoid the fee, you can park along the ridge off of Montgomery Ave, and there is also free street parking right outside the Spring Lake Park entrance on Violetti Road.
