An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating indefinitely
Come as you are and join us in exploring how 12-Step recovery and Science of Mind interrelate. Both Earnest Holmes & Bill W. were building community in the 1940s. All are welcome whether you are already a member of any recovery group, family members, spouses/partners, parents, adult children, friends, or questioning if recovery is for you.
There are no fees to attend and each meeting ends with an affirmative prayer. Please feel free to come early with questions and stay late for fellowship.
Here is what some of our participants are saying:
I have been attending the [meetings] at the Center, for over three years. I tried other 12- Step meetings in the area; however, I never felt “at home” in those meetings. I believe because this meeting incorporates the teachings of Dr. Ernest Holmes and spiritual mind treatments, I can fully connect here. This meeting and the group of incredible people who attend, have become my second home. We share, connect, and relate in this confidential and safe community.
This mixed-teachings meeting provides me a much-needed spiritual approach that standard 12-step groups don’t offer; that is, teachings from other movements such as Science of Mind, meditation activities, gratitude study, writing practice, and relevant book study that are drawn upon to boost the 12-step foundation. The tenets of the meetings follow those of standard 12-step, yet after many years in 12-step rooms, I find this group a refreshing addition to my recovery. It is a welcoming group of people who provide a safe and confidential environment, and I have forged supportive friendships.
